LRCC is offering a variety of dance programs for children ranging from ages 2 to 10.
LRCC is offering a variety of dance programs for children ranging from ages 2 to 10. The program is open to all and not limited to children living in the Lord Roberts community. No previous dance experience is required. Classes will go ahead providing there are enough registrants for each class. There will be a total of 10 session in length.
- Classes start the week of February 2nd.
- No classes the week of February 16th or April 12th.
- Final class is the week of April 19th.
$55 for ten classes.
Classes will require a minimum enrolment of 3 children to go ahead.
Leotard and tights. No shoes. Black preferable.
Plain t-shirt and shorts/dance pants. No shoes. Black preferable.

- 1:30-2:30 Creative Movement (ages 4-5) – CLASS IS FULL
- 2:30-3:30 Ballet/Jazz Combo (ages 6-7)
- 3:30-4:30 Ballet/Jazz Combo (ages 8-10)
- 5:30-6:30 Musical Theatre (ages 6-7) – CLASS IS FULL
- 6:30-7:30 Musical Theatre (ages 8-10)
Parents and Tots
This course is designed to develop coordination and explore rhythm and movement while their older partner gets in on the action. We welcome parents, grandparents, older siblings or cousins to participate with the child. (Only one adult per child)
An introduction to music and dance designed to enhance creativity and body awareness through the exploration of quality of movement, rhythm and speed working on their own, with partners and groups.
An introduction to the worlds of ballet and jazz. This program will teach structured dance techniques and vocabulary while fostering their creativity by using elements of creative movement. Classes will utilize music and movements appropriate for the age group.
This class will explore singing, dancing and acting. The class will help kids understand how to use their own bodies and voices, how to read each other’s intention, and through the creative process, kids develop their confidence and connection to one another. Classes will utilize music and movements appropriate for the age group.
