The Big Community Puzzle Race & Fundraiser!

Looking for a fun night out that actually supports a good cause? Grab three friends or family members and sign up for our first-ever 4-Person Speed Puzzling Tournament!

It’s simple: you and your team will go head-to-head against other tables to see who can finish the exact same puzzle the fastest. It’s a total surprise—no one gets to see the image until the timer starts.

All proceeds from the night go straight toward supporting local community programming and community centre space upgrades.

  • Date: Saturday, November 21, 2026
  • Time: Doors 6:30 PM, Start 7:30 PM
  • Duration: 3 hour time limit
  • Format: Head-to-head speed puzzling competition
  • Team Size: Exactly 4 players per team
  • Objective: Be the fastest team to finish an identical, secret 1,000-piece puzzle
  • Entry Fee: $100 per team
  • Prizes: TBA
  • Extras: You can bring snacks, and canteen is open as well. Plus, cash bar.
  • Cause: All proceeds go toward local community programming and space upgrades

Fine Print:

Teams please be ready to start 15 minutes before competition.
No sorting or magnifying equipment allowed.
Competitors must not open or tamper with the puzzle bag before the judge starts the timer.
Raise your hand or give a verbal cue when you’re close to finishing to alert a judge nearby.
Fully raise both hands in the air when done. Judges will verify the completed puzzle.
If no team/individual completes the puzzle in the allotted time, the winner will be the one with the most correctly assembled pieces.
A “correct group” = 3+ connected pieces, even if unattached to the main section.
Missing pieces penalty: If you are missing a piece you have 10 seconds to find the piece, or take the 10 second penalty if the puzzle piece is not found. (applied only if the puzzle is otherwise complete).
