Lighthouse: Our after-school program for kids ages 6 to 12
LRCC is proud to offer the Lighthouse After School Program for children aged 6–12.
Lighthouse provides a welcoming, relaxed space after school, with a snack and gently supervised crafts, games, and activities. When space and scheduling allow, participants may also have access to the gym, and we have a playground as well. From time to time, we also offer special programming such as cooking activities. Many days, kids simply enjoy socializing, unwinding, and taking a well-earned break after the school day.
The program is free and offered on a drop-in basis, with no registration required. If it’s your child’s first visit, please accompany them and introduce yourself to staff.
The club is also open after school to many tweens and teens from Churchill School. These youth are welcome to join Lighthouse provided they model positive behaviour and set a good example for younger participants.
LRCC maintains strict expectations around behaviour. Bullying, teasing, or similar conduct will result in immediate suspension from the program.
