Winter BBQ Fundraiser
Saturday March 12th the Lord Roberts Community Centre hosted an outdoor Winter BBQ fundraising event.
Warm up with hot chocolate after your skate or stop by after for some BBQ in our beer garden. The LRCC is working on planning a new fundraiser event and is hoping to see you stop by to support your Community Centre.
Additional volunteers are needed for this event. Multiple times available to work with your schedule. Sign up now.
Location
The event will take place on the east side of the centre beside the rink. Parking is available in the LRCC parking lot or on one of the neighbourhood streets. We are also a short walk from the rapid transit station.
Schedule
*Schedule subject to change
- Kids hour from 12PM – 2PM inside the centre. There will be a bouncy castle with face painting.
- Beer garden opens at 2PM.
- Smoked pork sandwiches will be available approximately 4PM – 7PM
- We’ll be moving indoors at 8PM for warmth
- Beer garden ends at 1AM
Food and Drinks
- Kids plate: Hotdog + chips + drink
- BBQ pork sandwich
- Beers from our friends at Sookrams
COVID
Proof of vaccination and masks will be required for being inside the facility.
