Summer Pop-Up Classes! (Ages 6-10)

Wednesdays: 6:30–7:30 PM | Jul 8, Jul 22, Aug 5 & Aug 19 | Fee: $20 per class

Let your child release their inner actor, at these fun pop-up classes! Classes feature games and activities that encourage students to express themselves in creative ways, use their imaginations, and practice story creation. Each class will feature a different theme for students to explore.

Acting 55+ FREE Sample Classes

We are launching a new acting class for students ages 55+ this fall! Try the class for free before you sign up. Two sample classes are available with three different dates to choose from*. Each sample class is designed to give future students an example of what the fall classes will be like. They feature exercises exploring characters, light movement, and introductory improv.

Kids Acting | Fall 2026

Drama Adventure (Ages 6–9)

Kids are introduced to the world of acting through fun games, interactive adventures and playful performance. These classes are great for kids who love playing pretend, storytelling and who have a flair for drama. Register

Acting Discovery (Ages 10–13)

Kids will learn how to become different characters, explore different ways to tell stories and develop improv skills. These classes nurture creativity and build confidence all while having fun. Register

 

Adult Acting | Fall 2026

Crafting Performance (18+)

Mondays: 7:00–8:30 PM | Sept 28 – Nov 9 (no class Oct 12) | Fee: $150

Learn how to get into the mind of a character, how to develop your physical and vocal awareness for performance and how to bring the imagined world to the stage. This beginner-friendly class is great for people who: want to try something new, want to develop some performance skills, crave creativity, want to meet like-minded people, and are ready to have some fun! About the Instructor

Rachel E. Smith

Rachel E. Smith is an actor, director, producer, writer and arts educator working in theatre and film. She is passionate about creating original work, often experimenting with form and seeking to deliver unique productions that are thought-provoking and entertaining.

In addition to Rachel’s accomplishments as an artist, she has taught performance-based classes and workshops since 2016. She has worked with Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Prairie Theatre Exchange, and has led workshops in schools and classrooms throughout Winnipeg. Rachel also works as a performance coach, helping others gain confidence and eloquence in their public speaking and presentation skills.

Rachel is a Lord Roberts resident who is excited to lead acting classes in the community. Whether she is teaching a class for kids, teens or adults, she is excited to be part of the creative journey that her students embark on when they step into her class.
