Drama Adventure

Ages 6–9

Kids are introduced to the world of acting through fun games, interactive
adventures and playful performance. These classes are great for kids who love
playing pretend, storytelling and who have a flair for drama. $120

Acting Discovery

Ages 10–13

Wednesdays 7:30–8:30

Jan 21 – Mar 18 (no class Feb 18)

Kids will learn how to become different characters, explore different ways to
tell stories and develop improv skills. These classes nurture creativity and
build confidence all while having fun. $120

Engaging Theatre

Ages 14–17

Mondays 6:00–7:15

Jan 19 – Mar 16 (No class Feb 16)

Teens will develop essential acting skills through character development,
improv games, and scene exploration. This class can accommodate first-time
actors as well as students who have taken previous classes. $160

Crafting Performance

Ages 18+

Mondays 7:30–9:00

Jan 19 – Mar 16 (No class Feb 16)

Learn how to get into the mind of a character, develop physical and vocal
awareness for performance, and bring the imagined world to the stage. This
class suits both new actors and those looking to build on existing skills.

December Pop-Up Acting Workshops

Adult Workshops


These workshops for adults can be taken individually or as a full series.
Whether you’re trying acting for the first time or want to strengthen your
current skills, these sessions offer a fun, supportive space to learn.

Monday Dec 1, 7:00–8:30pm: Developing a Character.
Explore movement, voice, and imagination to bring new characters to life.
$40.

Monday Dec 8, 7:00–8:30pm: Using Improvisation Techniques.
Learn how improv can enrich performance and create new worlds.
$40.

Monday Dec 15, 7:00–8:30pm: Acting Out a Scene.
Bring a scene to life using condensed techniques and quick study.
$40.

Child, Youth & Teen Workshops

Wednesday Dec 3, 6:30–8:30pm — Ages 6–9:
Kids will construct a mask, create a skit, and present it to their grownups.
$40.

Wednesday Dec 10, 6:30–8:30pm — Ages 10–13:
Kids will construct a mask, create a skit, and present it to their grownups.
$40.

Wednesday Dec 17, 6:30–8:30pm — Ages 14–17:
Creating Performance. Teens will create a scenario and performance and present
it to their grownups. $40.

About the Instructor

Rachel E. Smith is an experienced actor, director, producer, and arts educator
with a passion for inspiring creativity. She has taught performance-based
workshops since 2016, working with Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Prairie
Theatre Exchange, and schools across Winnipeg. Rachel also coaches public
speaking and presentation skills, helping people gain confidence in their
performance abilities.

As a Lord Roberts resident, Rachel is excited to bring acting classes to her
community, encouraging students of all ages to explore the joy of performance.
