Are you looking for a way to reconnect with your Indigenous culture, reclaim traditions that were lost or just want to understand how to better respect your Indigenous neighbours? Then this class is for you.

We’ll be working on traditional Indigenous creations while sharing teachings and how to live life in a good way. Please note Indigenous perspectives/experiences will be centred and this means some topics discussed may require your discretion (MMIWG2S, residential schools, substance use, and other heavy issues affecting our community).

All supplies and the cost of the class will be provided free of charge to promote access to those who have lost connection to their cultural knowledge due to colonization.

A diverse group of participants is essential for this program as it fosters a rich exchange of perspectives, allowing participants to learn not only from the teachings but also from each other’s unique experiences and insights. This diversity enhances the collective understanding of Indigenous culture, helping to bridge gaps between different backgrounds and fostering a more inclusive environment.

Due to the anticipated high demand for this program, we expect that spaces will fill up quickly. To ensure a diverse group and maximize participation we will be collecting a list of interested participants and will reach out as a space becomes available. Please pre-register below.

Facilitated by Britt Ross, who is 2 spirit, Nehiyaw and Métis.
